Before designing Workshops, I meet with organizers to understand their goals for the workshops, but also goals for the organization. I like to understand the environment, culture, and challenges. I use all of this to design an agenda and activities that will complement the organization and work in context for participants.
I also like to understand the organization's plans for follow-up on the development work done to strengthen and re-enforce concepts - ultimately making lasting impact on the environment and culture.
Workshop content is often based on, but not limited to Gallup's CliftonStrengthsTM (also known as StrengthsFinder) assessment themes. CliftonStrengths is an powerful tool to get individuals to identify their innate talents and see their unique value and what they bring to the table. However, I also include other concepts, as needed, to deliver a comprehensive and impactful program - e.g. Knowing your WHY, 5 Languages of Love/Appreciation. The workshop content is customized to meets your goals.
Work groups that have Strengths-based development have:
14-29% Increased profit
Employees who receive Strengths-based development have:
7-23% Higher employee engagement
People who focus on using their Strengths are:
3 times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life
In addition to using the CliftonStrengths (or StrengthsFinder) assessment as a tool for workshops, I can also incorporate topics from my coaching sessions. (Exploring Identity & Diversity content is good content to include for discussion with groups.)
Start with any of these. Or build from 1. Personal Foundation, to 2. Identity, and then to 3. Transformation.
Just about any group or organization can benefit from investing in its members. Any group can reach out to me. From our conversations, we can determine if I'm a good match for your goals.
Group examples: companies, non-profits, clubs, volunteer organizations, government, schools, colleges/universities, religious organizations, service organizations, or even just a group of people willing to pool together to organize a workshop (or workshop series).
Workshop content can be designed to include one or both - for individuals and teams. However, if doing team-focused development, it's important to include content for individuals first to build a foundation upon which to build additional concepts.
Workshops are planned by the organization that requested it. Location is up to the planners - whether onsite or a separate location to encourage focused participation.
I'm based in the Greater Boston area and can most easily access local destinations. However, I'm happy to travel as required.
I have experience presenting internationally, across multiple continents. Requests for national and international sessions are welcome.
Workshop cost varies by design. The variables that affect total cost are time (e.g. # of days), # of participants, and travel (if required). Time (in days) is determined by the agreed goals and agenda, not the specific activities. Number of participants impacts cost due to supplies and assessments required.

Workshops are typically organized by some type of group - e.g. company, club, school. The organizers plan the logistics and define the participation list.
Workshop content can be designed for anyone. Every individual can really benefit from doing this personal work. So if a group of individuals wanted to set up an informal workshop, I'm happy to do that.
Individuals should consider browsing the Online Courses page. Offers include personal growth activities specifically designed for individuals.
