Why I Created the Success Foundation Series

Why I decided to create the Success Foundation (six-week interactive) Series:
The reason why I did it - it was a couple of things. Number one: as social distancing went into place, it was actually an opportunity to take some of the work that I do - whether it’s in live workshops or working with people one-on-one - taking some of those topics and creating it into a six-week curriculum or structure.
There’s a series of topics that we talk about – whether it’s exploring people’s talents, or strengths, their weaknesses, their motivations, their needs, their values, self-care… What are their intentions? What is their life vision? There’s a lot of different topics that we explore in these six weeks.
It was an opportunity to take some of the work that I’ve been customizing for organizations and individuals, and create a structured curriculum using online tools to then have people work side-by-side.
So it’s a nice informal discussion, interactive, almost classroom kind of feel where we’re all discussing topics together. But because everybody has their individual CliftonStrengths Assessment results, they can apply the topic that we’re discussing through the filters of their own talents. They’re looking at it through their own eyes and expecting to have a different interpretation than the other people in the Series with them.
It’s also an opportunity (live and interactive) for people to see: “Huh, I thought everybody thought this way, and I’m starting to see (based on other people’s comments or questions) that this is unique to me. And here’s this other thing that maybe I was insecure or thought was just me, I’m starting to see that other people are having the same kind of questions.”
So, I’ve done it a few times this year. Upcoming now on October 14th, is going to be the last time I offer it in 2020. It started out as being something to try out because of social distancing but it’s become a program that I’ve had a lot of fun with and people have really gotten a lot of value and really enjoyed.
